Starting her publishing practice at an early age, Elise By Olsen founded and edited Recens Paper, a youth culture magazine bringing young people’s creative narratives into print and into newsstands. With By Olsen at the helm, Recens Paper landed a place on the shelves of Tate Modern, Dover Street Market, 10 Corso Como, Palais de Tokyo, Colette and Tsutaya Books; and in Highsnobiety’s list of “the world’s top 5 alternative fashion magazines” and ArtForum’s “top 5 magazines of 2017”. She resigned from her position at Recens Paper in 2017, at age 18.
